December 21, the food pantry had soup along with their pantry drive thru. West Holt Hospital helped with the distribution and it was a cold snowy day to do it. Along with our volunteers who lift and move the boxes, the ones who checked all the paperwork, and the soup servers all went well.
The Food Pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 11 am - 1 pm. People may come to the West Holt Health Ministries building located at 108 W. State St in Atkinson to receive groceries. At this time, we are a drive by pick up pantry only. We also give out emergency food bags. In case of inclement weather, please listen to KBRX, O'Neill; KNLV, Ord or KBRB, Ainsworth.
